Marayoor sandal forest
Marayoor, located forty km from Munnar, is a rain shadow village lying in the eastern side of the Western Ghats and is bordered by the neighbouring state Tamil Nadu. Marayoor is the only place in Kerala with a natural growth of sandalwood trees. Marayoor as a pristine, heavenly and unexplored tourist spot is comparable to Munnar which is one of the most sought after hill stations in India in every respect. The place is especially an excellent trekking spot for adventure seekers. The road from Rajamala to Marayoor is flanked by lush green tea estates.Then you come across the sandalwood forest. First, the trees appear one by one, and soon these turn into a sea. The air is cool and one comes under the rain shadow area.
Echo point Munnar
Among the many attractions of Munnar is the Echo point. It is situated around 15kms from Munnar, and draws huge crowd, thanks to the natural phenomenon of echo. Located on the way to the Top station, the highest point in Munnar, echo point provides the perfect point to see the glory of the valley that lies beneath it. Eco point is a lake side location about half an hour drive from Munnar. It is on Top Station road, about 6 kms past Mattuppetty. The artificial lake is the same reservoir that is at Mattuppetty and the view is similar as well.
Chellarkovil view point
It is such an amazing view point at chellarkovil Idukki,Kerala. It has a miraculous panoramic view of Tamil Nadu from Western Ghats mountains. This viewpoint is situated at Kerala Tamilnadu border. The climate is excellent here. Bamboo forest is an another attraction of this area that's providing such an amazing photo shoot location of all those who visiting here. Trekking and other adventurous tourism facilities are available here under Kerala tourism Promotion Council. It is around 23 km far from Kattappana and it is around 40 minutes travel. And from Kumily it is around 16 km and 25 minutes of drive. Chellarkovil waterfall is near of it and just 10 minutes of drive from here.
VAGAMON
Vagamon, a beautiful picnic spot famous for trekking, is situated near Peermedu in Idukki district. The grassy hills, velvet lawns and overall mysticism of the place is something unique. Visitors can avail many activities including trekking, paragliding, mountaineering and rock climbing. People love travelling across a chain of three famous hills: Thangal, Murugan and Kurisumala. These are important to Hindus, Muslims and Christians, respectively. The Kurisumala monks have an enchanting dairy farm nearby that is truly a delight to visit.

Karikadu view point at Vagamon. It is situated at Vagamon-erattupetta Road. Hillside is the main attraction here. The panoramic view of the hilly landscape is an amazing view.
